IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Starhub revises subscription rate
to bring in more quality shows
Singapore,
16 November, 2011 – With
effect from 1 December 2011, Starhub will increase its subscription rate for
its Cable TV services. For an extra $2 a
month, all subscribers will enjoy more award winning shows.
The revision is in
light of the rising content costs over the years that Starhub is unable to absorb.
All cable TV packages will not be amended in any way. Instead, Starhub will introduce
more English, Korean, Mandarin, Tamil and Malay television shows that will
telecast the same day as their global counterparts.
“It is important to us
that our subscribers know what they are paying for- the most up to date
television shows of a high quality,” says Neil Montefoire, Chairman of Starhub.
Starhub’s mobile and
broadband subscribers will not be affected by the price revision and will still
enjoy the same quality service they have been receiving from Starhub. All
on-going mobile, broadband and Cable TV subscription proposals will not be
affected as well.
Starhub Cable TV
subscribers are encouraged to direct any queries to our Customer Service
Centers or Customer Care Hotline: 6873
2828.
